Joaquim Chaves Saúde will launch, on 20 June at 3 p.m., a new project at the Sintra Clinic entitled “À Conversa com a Enfermagem”. The initiative consists of health literacy sessions led by the Clinic’s Nursing team, addressing practical everyday topics. It takes place on Saturday afternoons, with places limited to 20 participants per session.
The first session is dedicated to First Aid and includes a comprehensive programme: the concept of first aid, how to contact 112 correctly and effectively, and how to act in common situations such as wounds, bleeding, burns, fractures and sprains, stings, airway obstruction, fainting, seizures, and the recovery position.
This project is aimed at anyone interested in the topics presented, making health knowledge more accessible and closer to the community.
