Throughout the morning, four surgical procedures will be performed in two distinct operating theatres, allowing for a comprehensive view of different approaches within the field of orthopaedics. The programme includes two shoulder surgeries, one knee surgery, and one foot and ankle surgery, providing participants with direct contact with the latest techniques.
The procedures will be carried out by an experienced medical team: the shoulder surgeries will be led by Prof. Dr Clara Azevedo and Dr Ana Catarina Ângelo; the knee surgery will feature Dr Joaquim Rodeia and Dr Rita Alçada; and the foot and ankle surgery will be performed by Dr Manuel Resende Sousa. In the CORE Auditorium, two other orthopaedics team members (Dr Sara Carloto and Dr Frederico Lage) will be supporting participants and facilitating communication between the surgical theatre and the CORE Auditorium.
More than simply a broadcast, this initiative aims to promote scientific updating and the exchange of experiences among peers, in a format that favours direct observation and technical discussion.
Places are limited to 50 participants, highlighting the exclusive nature of the event. Registration is mandatory and can be completed via the following form: https://forms.gle/nfNb6ik242M9728J8
