Recorded in the auditorium of the CORE Building, at the headquarters of Joaquim Chaves Saúde, and featuring a “round table” format, CORE CAST offers dynamic and insightful debates, moderated by specialist doctors. The aim of the project is to promote health literacy and bring medical topics closer to people’s everyday lives, making information clear and useful for everyone and improving the quality of life of the Portuguese population.
The inaugural episode addressed the topic “Do I sleep poorly or do I have sleep apnea?” and featured pulmonologists Dr. Eva Brysch and Dr. Mónica Pereira, both from Joaquim Chaves Saúde. The discussion highlighted the importance of valuing sleep as a fundamental biological need, warning that many Portuguese people normalize constant fatigue and ignore signs of sleep disorders.
