For young talents with a passion for healthcare, for those about to start a career with a positive impact on society, and for all those looking to gain experience and learn from industry experts, Joaquim Chaves Saúde offers internship opportunities.

We encourage students and recent graduates to discover their skills and expand knowledge, as they grow in a supportive environment, both professionally and personally.

At Joaquim Chaves Saúde, we guide our interns by appointing a mentor responsible for monitoring the intern’s development.

JCS features the following ADN internships:
Curricular and extracurricular internships
Summer internships
Specialty internships

Internships are available in the following areas:
• Laboratory Analysis
• Core Structure (Logistics, Planning and Financial Control, IT, Customer Service, among others)
• Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy
• Nuclear Medicine
• Nursing and Assistants

For curricular and specialty internships, our protocol is organized and regulated by the university or other public institution.

Applicants should send their internship application to drh@jcs.pt, with the subject ‘Application for internship_ area of interest’. Our HR department will intermediate between the university, schools and students. After analysing and approving the application, we will then schedule an interview between the intern and the person in charge of the area to assess interest and motivation. The candidate will always be informed of the final decision. At the end of the internship, interns receive a certificate of participation.
