JCS's participation was based on the Medgical project, which competed in the “Best Integration of AI in Healthcare” category and was named one of the three finalists among several international entries.
The implementation of the MEDigcal project thus reflects the consistent work that Joaquim Chaves Saúde has been developing in the continuous search for innovative solutions that raise the excellence of clinical practice while significantly improving the customer experience.
It should be noted that the MEDgical project was implemented at Joaquim Chaves Saúde in the last quarter of 2024 and brought with it an innovative artificial intelligence solution that automated the registration of appointments. In a simple way, the use of this tool allowed doctors to focus more on the customer, minimizing the time usually spent taking notes and dealing with the bureaucratic work associated with the appointment.
MEDgical was also recently certified under ISO 27001, an international reference standard for Information Security that demonstrates the quality and security of the project.
This recognition represents a highly significant honor and reinforces Joaquim Chaves Saúde's ongoing commitment to digital transformation and the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector.
Created in 2022, the European Private Hospitals Awards have established themselves as the leading European event for promoting and recognizing excellence in the private hospital sector. This year's ceremony brought together around 300 leading representatives from the healthcare sector, from 17 European countries, including executives, healthcare professionals, leaders, and companies from the healthcare and technology fields.
